Puppy University

Our Puppy University program was specifically designed for the developing puppies (puppies under 6 months old). This program is unlike anything you have seen before, combining everything your new puppy needs to grow into a great adult dog. This program focuses on positive real life socialization, teaching basic cues to both ends of the leash - one end how to teach and the other what they are, potty & crating routines, curbing and working through some of the pesky puppy behaviours like biting/jumping/counter surfing and much more.

If you - the owner that just got a brand new puppy:

What your puppy learns:

  • 8 - 10 Puppy Foundation Behaviours/Cues:

    1. Attention to handler (Puppies name)

    2. Sit

    3. Down

    4. Leave it

    5. Recall

    6. Waiting at the door

    7. Leash manners

    8. Place/Go to bed

    9. Sitting politely for attention

    10. Kennel

  • Potty / Crate training & routines

  • Husbandry/Handling skills - brushing, teeth brushing, nail trims, restraints, collar grab game, etc.

  • Real life socialization; Outings into the real world with the trainer

  • Emotional self control around higher value items like; food, people, items.

  • Constant confidence building

  • Combating pesky puppy behaviours like jumping up, mouthing/nipping, digging, counter surfing, etc

  • Appropriate dog friends based on your puppies confidence, temperament and socialization (All dog friends are extremely puppy savvy dogs & hand picked by our dog trainer)

Requirements:

Your puppy must be between the ages of 8 weeks to 6 months of age. There are no exceptions, however puppies over 6 months of age can enrol in our K9S College program.

Before enrolling all puppies must be up-to-date on their age appropriate vaccinations.

Pricing & Enrollment

Enrollment Fee - $175 +hst (includes following items)

  • Gentle Leader

  • Veehoo cot

  • Treats & chews throughout the program (Unless allergies - treats will need to be provided)

  • Clicker

  • Treat Pouch

  • Placement in program

The enrollment fee does not include daily training, only ensuring a place in our program and the above items.

Pricing - $60 per full day.

3 days weekly - $175 +hst | 5 days weekly - $282.50 +hst

Monthly Membership - $1000 +hst (5 days per week - 4 weeks)

This program is not offered in half days. Daily, weekly or membership options available.
